It also leaks pretty bad if left on its side (when the lid is open, not closed) or when upside down. Not that this should shock or surprise you...this is still a great product for transporting extra milk for trips away from home. I'm looking forward to future usefulness when my daughter is old enough to use it properly, rather than leaving it on the floor or just dropping it when she's done. Until then, sippy cups for drinking...this for traveling. The Tinkerbell images are just gorgeous though, and its a really strong and durable cup. I would definitely recommend and purchase this again (especially with the matching food container). They are dishwasher safe (even the rubber straw) and durable (my first one has survived 100+ drops).They are great for weaning kids off the bottle, as they don't leak (okay, maybe they leak a tiny bit, but not when compared to others I've used). There's nothing worse than waking up to the smell of a couch soaked with rotten milk. Now one down-side is that after a good year the print (picture) has come off to the point where it's not recognizable. I think this is from the dishwasher, though I think it would happen even if hand washed (but it would take much longer). Still, I kept the old one as a backup and brought a new one because they work so well. |
