I could get free coffee at work, but I don't like their brand. I can brew a pot in the morning, pour most of it in here and have just enough left from my four-cup caraffe for a cup before I leave. When that midafternoon slump rolls around my coffee's still steaming hot. You can pour without completely removing the plug, keeping the rest insulated, and the outer lid doubles as a handy cup. It works great for cold drinks too. I filled it with ice water before heading home, and after an hour outside in August heat it was still frosty cold. Four hours later the ice still hadn't melted noticably. The solid steel construction's definitely tough. I dropped a full Thermos on a tile floor and it just bounced, no dents or scratches and didn't spill a drop. The brushed finish also hides fingerprints. A quick rinse after use and it's ready to go again. It keeps my hot tea hot for at least 5 hours. I like that the lid doubles as a little tea cup. Note: as the instructions state, you need to put hot water in it, wait for 10 minutes, dump it out, and then add your hot liquid. It works great if you pre-warm it like this.
